On the 21st of October at Eventhallen in Oslo, Miss Tanzania emerged winner of the 2017 Miss Africa Norway Pageant. Sherina Rendini took the coveted crown out of many other contestant and is set to carry out her duties for her period as queen.
According to the pageant organisers: ”Miss Africa Norway will be more than just a pretty face. She will be a cultural ambassador and a bridge between Africa and Norway.
She will be involved in championing the rights and agenda of organisations that work to help and uplift people. One of our sponsors, African Cultural Awareness, will be working together with Miss Africa Norway in promoting their campaigns, both current and upcoming.”
She has already began her first mission in Vietnam courtesy sponsor Kathyda; an organisation which works with disabled and orphaned children in Vietnam. The event was organised by former Miss Africa Norway; Carline Sserwadda and The African Forum Nordic
